I present to you my 1976 BMW 2002:

At the young age my father’s Rasta friend drove a blue 2002 don’t remember the year, I saw that car and that was it for me, a few times I got to drive it around the block. As the years went by I was into VW’s but still had the passion for 02’s. About 1997 I bought a 1974 2002tii which was fun and exiting until its departure.

In 1998 I purchased this 2002 for about $500.00, it needed work; had the engine rebuilt and extensive body work done, new carpeting the works, spent a fortune. The car suffered its ups and downs blown engine, sat out in the element and nature took a toll on it.
I later turned it into a project car never turned back from there, I came up with a bright idea to swap in a VW Passat 1.8t AEB engine, I thought it was a perfect match and would have some serious power, it would be different and surely it would be a challenge.
The car was original brown in color had it painted silver (paint code form 2002 Ford SVT Focus) I swapped in an out wheel then went back to the original.

Mods:
Engine/gearbox adapter, modified aluminum VW Passat flywheel, BMW 228mm clutch, VW Passat pressure plate, BMW needle bearing, BMW throw out bearing, BMW 320i 5sp gearbox, and shortened driveshaft. Turbocharger T3 60-1, 42lb Bosch injectors, Wolf EMS (ECU) Ford Mustang Big throttle Body, after market exhaust manifold, custom exhaust, Mitsubishi coil pack with VW plug wires. Front mounted intercooler. Battery relocated to trunk, fuel pump from Mercedes Benz (trunk located)
